Hi, I’m Mariah.

Based out of Northern Colorado, I serve Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor, Timnath, Laporte, and Wellington. I work exclusively in person, with great regard for safety, due to the nature of my coaching focus, which is possession reduction, organization, and wellness.

Over the past 10 years, I have held leadership positions in education, child welfare, crisis intervention, and mental health intake and triage. My passion for efficiency & wellness coaching emerged from a desire to serve individuals beyond traditional systems of care, which can sometimes limit professionals and fail to serve people holistically. I aim to create a novel framework for coaching, supported by peers in the field, to meet people where they are with compassion and understanding.

I hold an M.S. in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Project Management from Colorado State University Global and have earned international certification as a Peer Recovery Coach Professional with the Connecticut Center for Addiction Recovery (CCAR). I hold undergraduate degrees in Psychology from two Colorado institutions of higher education.

Approach

I use cognitive dissonance-based interventions to help clients understand that disorder, or entropy, is a natural part of life. Things tend to move toward chaos unless we actively work to create order—syntropy. If we don’t make time to create order, we’ll eventually have to make time for disorder. In our busy lives, it’s easy to see entropy at work: homes don’t clean themselves, cars don’t get better with age, and our well-being doesn’t improve on its own. Stress, fear, and everyday pressures can cause our bodies, minds, relationships, and spaces to fall into disarray. Reversing this disorder takes effort, but it’s possible. Unfortunately, many people feel overwhelmed by the mess and spiral into procrastination and shame. That’s where I step in. I founded Get ToGather to help people face disorder without judgment and start taking action. My favorite question is, “Where would you like to start?”

I love seeing my clients realize they can do hard things. I work with them to clean their homes, reduce clutter, attend doctor’s appointments, advocate for themselves, advance their careers, and more. My goal is to support people as they tackle their “WOAH” moments and show them they’re capable of more than they think. Get ToGather offers coaching packages focused on different aspects of wellness, including Emotional, Occupational, Social, Environmental, Intellectual, and Physical well-being. These packages are flexible and can be tailored to your specific needs.

philosophy

It is my belief that boundary management is the key to wellness, peace and joy- that we’ve always known a heartfelt “yes” from a “no” but have been taught to suppress our feelings and intuitions from a young age. While it is no simple task to unravel the framework of our social programming, we may begin to reclaim ownership of our lives by saying “yes” and “no” without shame or obligation. This requires us to be honest with ourselves, willing to enforce our boundaries based on the unshakable belief we are deserving of peace.

In school, the lesson ends when the bell rings. In life, the lesson ends when you’ve learned it.

Progress is peak performance.

Let your belongings bring you joy or purpose. If they don’t bring one or both, they’re costing you precious energy.

You aren’t likely to think your way out of situations you acted your way into.

The capacity to focus on your problems is a privilege. Everything is a gift or a lesson; the majority are both.
